Paver Driveway Borders Driveway Edgers & Designs!

When designing a paver driveway, many of our clients ask us how we will border their new driveway! Using pavers along the driveway border, not only adds dimension to the project, it helps keep the pavers from spreading!

When we are designing a new project, we try and make the driveway space as customized as possible. Most of our driveways are installed using a 3pc paver. The 3pc paver consists of three individual sizes, 4x6, 6x6, 6x9. These sizes allow us to create a random pattern that is installed within the entire field of the project (see below ).

Paver Driveway Border - Paver Edging

Along the border, you will see there is a distinct difference in paver color, size and pattern. This is where we start to create that dimensional bordering pattern!

This client choose to take the 6x9 paver, and lay it in a solider pattern. A solider pattern is the most commonly way to lay a paver border. To install this pattern, rectangular pavers are laid in a row, side by side. On the outside edges of these pavers, a concrete edging is installed to set everything in place and prevent spreading.

Once installation is complete you can see that installing a border to your paver driveway gives it a unique and tailored look! BEAUTIFUL!
