Types of Bluestone Patios

If you are wanting to install Bluestone on your patio you have plenty of options to choose from! Although they may look the same, Bluestone is available in a variety of options including: Natural Cleft Bluestone and Thermal Bluestone.

Natural Cleft Bluestone is beautiful. The distinct feature of Natural Cleft Bluestone comes from blocks of bluestone that are taken from the ground and then split on visible seams. The surface has a rippled look and a smooth feel. The color tones include blue, grey, tans and reds.

Thermal Bluestone is also quite the show-stopper! This natural stone is cut and then torched to give the stone a flat, modern, non-slip surface.
