Does American Paving Design Locate Utility Lines?

Working with American Paving Design

One of our main goals is to deliver the WOW factor to our clients. This means that we take all the precautions that we can to ensure that your project is done correctly and efficiently.

One of those factors is calling the SC 811 DIG marks on behalf of our clients.

It’s no surprise that there are tons of utility lines located underneath your driveway. So prior to our crews showing up, APD calls 811 to come out and location the most common used lines, these include: power, cables and sometimes gas lines.

Making sure our clients are happy with their design and installation is at the heart of what we do. Here at American Paving Design installing new driveways can be tricky, but as professionals we understand the importance of making sure we do everything correctly.

Prior to starting this stunning, Tremron paver driveway remodel we were able to call 811 dig mark, and make sure all lines were located prior to us starting. Not only does this help our men while on site, but it also ensures the client does not have power cut to their home while the project is sin duration.

What is the process for submitting an 811 Dig Mark

Reaching out to South Carolina and Georgia’s 811 Dig Safe for utility companies to mark approximate locations for underground utilities is the safest way for you to start your new hardscaping project. “How do I dig safe for my project?” you may ask. When you submit a ticket with your state's Dig Safe System, utility companies are then notified to come mark the approximate locations for the utility lines with paint, flags, and/or stakes in the proposed work areas. When you choose American Paving Design for your new hardscape driveway, we handle this process for you. Our crews will follow the state's guidelines to ensure your underground utilities are kept safe, while you sit back and enjoy your new hardscape project.
